Delaware River Twists

Staying off River Rd and enjoying the twists & foliage

There are a ton of routes along the Delaware River and there’s something in it for everyone. You’ve got fantastic twists, great views, and the foliage coming up through October should prove to be a beautiful ride. Just watch out for the leaves.

The Route

  • MILES: 81

  • TIME: 2 hours 24 minutes

  • START: Mojo 516 Cafe

  • FINISH: Trackside Grill & Bar

We’re going to mostly stay off of River Rd for this one. (If it’s River Road from New Hope you’re after, check out the second leg of this route).

We’ll start by covering a short stretch of River Road then head through the twists after a quick stop for breakfast at Ember.

A lot of the route is through quiet residential areas so keep your speed in check and try to just cruise through some of it. You’ll get a chance to rip through Marshall Creek Rd.

Have more time? Head to New Hope

The ride itself is fantastic but heading all the way down to New Hope via River Rd is an even better payoff. Tons of dinner options down there. My favorite is Nektar Bar and Triumph Brewery. Triumph is a bit further from town center but is right along the Delaware River.
