Ride Pennsylvania: Lake to Lake Dining

Love riding through the Poconos, especially September & October thanks to the brilliant colors of the changing leaves.

Love riding through the Poconos, especially September & October thanks to the brilliant colors of the changing leaves.

We're indulging on this ride; start, mid, & finish are good spots for grub.

  • MILES: 152

  • TIME: 3 hr 45 min

  • START: Jubilee Restaurant

  • FINISH: Mary Anne's Dairy Bar

The Route

We'll start out with breakfast on the lake at Jubilee Restaurant in Pocono Pines on Lake Naomi. Head north, riding above Lake Wallenpaupack and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Pocono Mountains.

Experience the thrill of riding the iconic Hawks Nest, a stretch of Route 97 known for its winding roads and stunning views. Continue east on Route 97, passing through the charming town of Port Jervis and alongside the Delaware River.

Next, ride west towards Hawley, stopping for a delicious meal at the Waterfront at Silver Birches. Conclude your adventure by heading south to Mary Anne's Dairy Bar in Stroudsburg for a well-deserved treat.

Extend the Ride

Not enough? Keep going south after Mary Anne's all the way down to a dinner in New Hope. Take River Rd for a stellar twisty ride. Great technical road.

My wife and I love Nektar Wine Bar for cocktails in New Hope but try to make reservations in advance if going on a busy night.
