The best riding weather is upon us... but be careful

plus... a ride along the twists along the Delaware River

Events 📆 on deck in NYC…

  1. 🛞 🛞 Two Wheel Tuesday at 🏙️ Skyline is tomorrow, Tuesday, the 26th! Last year’s event was one for the books and I’m thrilled to see it back on the schedule. The event is free but you must pre-register.

  2. Pre-register for the October 15th Inaugural Hudson Valley Motorcycle Ride benefiting the Hudson Valley 🐶 😺 Animal Rescue & Sanctuary

  3. 💀 Wicked Wednesday Season Closer 🥹 😭 is this Wednesday at MFG Co

Need to 🧠 know this week…

👉️ Click-to-buy scooter purchases? 🛵 Yes, please. Now bring that tech to bikes.

👉️ Speaking of scooters, this Aprilia scoot is 🔥

👉️ Yes! Love seeing the big manufacturers hop on the electric bandwagon; this is how progress happens. 🔋 This is Kawasaki’s showing.

👉️ We’ve just added 🤝 Riders Share to our discounts section. I’ve rented bikes from them in Colorado and NJ; both fantastic experiences.

👉️ Those poor BMW dealers. 😥 The GS1300 has been leaked to death but it won’t matter. BMW has halted sales of new & used bikes. Emissions are a bitch, folks. Ask VW.

The best riding weather is upon us 🥳

60 degrees in the morning and 75 in the afternoon. You really can’t ask for much better. Only tough decision is weather to wear a leather jacket or textile. Go textile and layer underneath.

As the weather gets a bit chillier, consider this:

  1. Leaves will start to coat the roads. You may be riding a 200hp 2 wheeled beast but leaves will bring you to your fucking knees. Go figure. And don’t go yeeting through leaf piles either.

  2. Small track roads in the mountains are fantastic twisties and whatever dew develops overnight dries out quick with the sun. As the days get shorter, the sun comes out later so those roads might still be wet at 9am. Be mindful and adjust the time you get out there.

  3. Speaking of sun, the days get shorter and shorter. Honestly, if you’re reading this during the day and it’s not raining, get out there and ride until dark. You may only have a few hours left. Transitional visors work great but in a pinch, bring along a clear as well as your tinted visor to make sure you don’t get caught in the dark in a visor you can barely see out of. I’ve been caught in the night with a tinted visor; it sucks.

  4. If you’ve switched out your tires early this season, take a good look at them now. Wear bars are there for a reason. If you’re getting low, don’t wait to change your tires, do it now. This is what happens when you don’t:

  5. Your tires will take a longer time to warm up on cold roads on the chilly mornings. Take it easy on the lean angles until you’ve been on the road for a while. This is mostly why you see some riders lean their bikes back & forth on straights. Well, also it’s fun.

Just get out there and enjoy the bast damn weather out of the entire year. Do keep the above in mind but don’t let that deter you from a good ride. Plus, we’ve got winter coming and more important shit to worry about.

What other real estate broker do you know that rides to showings on a Ducati Streetfighter V4S?

This guy is better than the broker you might already be working with. He’ll do a better job and he’ll never be late to a showing because he’ll show up on 2 wheels and in style.

But for real, Benjamin and the Sukenik Glazer team are the best in the city. They’ve delivered over $5 billion in recent sales, are consistently ranked in the top 10 in New York City, and have been named the #1 Small Team in America by WSJ/REAL Trends. In short, Ben gets it and so does his team.

👉️ Delaware River Twists 🍁

There are a ton of routes along the Delaware River and there’s something in it for everyone. You’ve got fantastic twists, great views, and the foliage coming up through October should prove to be a beautiful ride. Just watch out for the leaves.

On a side note, I ride a 200hp bright red death machine but quiver at the sight of leaves on the ground. WTF. ☠️

We’re going to mostly stay off of River Rd for this one. (If it’s River Road from New Hope you’re after, check out the second leg of this route).

We’ll start by covering a short stretch of River Road then head through the twists after a quick stop for breakfast at Ember.

A lot of the route is through quiet residential areas so keep your speed in check and try to just cruise through some of it. You’ll get a chance to rip through Marshall Creek Rd.

⛰️ Check out some of these other routes I’ve put together

Hit me up if you guys prefer one over the other and we can put together a ride out this Fall.
